Holme Park, Fort William

During early 2009, Optic Pine was selected to work on the construction of a number of timber frame two-storey apartment buildings in Fort William, on the shores of the beautiful Scottish Loch Linnhe.

High-Quality Natural Materials

The development, on behalf of client Holme Park, comprised a series of 18 two-bedroom properties, split equally between three blocks of six. Echoing the environmental beauty of the surroundings, an emphasis was placed on natural materials such as the high-quality timber frames supplied and installed by Optic Pine.

Complete Client Satisfaction

The work was completed in May 2010, on time and on budget. Commenting on the work, Holme Park director Ken Slater said:

‘During many years of building using internal insulation block construction I tried to adopt the timber frame method on three occasions and decided against it because I wasn’t confident of the outcome. Around ten years ago Darren and Optic Pine were recommended to me and took over the timber framing side of our build programme. We’ve worked together on many developments since, to our full satisfaction since.

I can totally recommend the services given by Darren and his team, to the extent that they’re our nominated contractor for our future sites, even working together as far as the Scottish Highlands.’
